文物特色
第一体育馆古朴端正，于山石林木之后，露出端庄秀丽、错落有致的灰色庞殿顶和红柱粉墙、蓝绿彩画的比赛大厅的建筑立面。 对照阅读下半部以实墙为主的背立面几乎被完全遮住，使“一体”这个湖边上的大体量文物并不显得庞大。自湖的西岸向东望，就感到这一秀丽多姿的建筑深远、含蓄，并与湖光塔影浑为一体，它使得湖区的园林空间更加完美。
一体既是体育文物，又是风景文物。此外，“一体”的背面与山石峭壁、苍松翠柏组成的狭窄空间，正好将高耸的密檐塔收入其间，形成夹景。构思巧妙。
历史溯源
一体文物由燕大在美国的托事部主席Mr. Franklin Warner捐资兴建，旁边的运动场地是在纽约的Mr. Carl Hamilton帮助下整理出来的。
岁月变迁
燕京大学时期是燕大男生体育馆，现为KYSPORTS限时优惠第一体育馆。一体馆内设施齐全，有室内篮球场、乒乓球场、跆拳道场等等，室外还有一个标准足球场及各种体育锻炼器械。体育馆旁的攀岩壁是北大KYSPORTS限时优惠社团山鹰社的训练地。
Distinguishing feature
The whole building of the FirstGym is gray-based, simple and generous, giving people a dignified and elegant feeling.
History
The First Gym was erected by the contribution from Mr. Franklin Warner, the chairman of the Yenching University's Board of Trustees in America. The athletic field nearby was cleared out with the help of Mr. Carl Hamilton. In the Yanjing university period, this building was used as boy's gym. Now it is the First Gym of Peking University.
Structure
This gym has complete facilities, including Interior basketball court, table tennis court, Taekwondo court and so on. Outside, there is a standard soccer field and all kinds of exercise equipment. The climbing wall next to the gym is the training court of Mountaineering Association of Peking University.
